Dr. Pedro Grynblat was born in Argentina where he graduated with honors from the University Of Buenos Aires School Of Medicine in 1976. As a Pulmonary specialist, he has been the Chief of Bronchoscopy Services at the State Government Rehabilitación Respiratoria Maria Ferrer Hospital since 1992. He also teaches bronchoscopy in several other hospitals and private clinics such as the Ramos Mejia Hospital and the Centro de Estudios Médicos e Investigaciones Clinicas School of Medicine (CEMIC), where he is Director of the section of interventional pulmonology.

Dr. Grynblat has traveled widely, spending time at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, The University of California San Diego, Irvine Medical Center, and the Unidad de Endoscopia y Laser Ciudad Sanitaria y Universitaria de Bellvitge, Hospitalet de Llobregat in Barcelona Spain. He is a member of the Argentine Medical Association as well as of The Brazilian Society of Pulmonology & Tisiology (SBTP), The Argentine Society of Bronchology (where he served as President in 1999), The South American Society of Bronchology (as a Founding Member and Treasurer), The American Association for Bronchology, The World Association for Bronchology, and the Asociacion Argentina de Medicina Respiratoria (where he is Head of the Bronchology Section). Dr. Grynblat has received awards from several societies, including the Eduardo Balestrino award from the 26th Congreso Argentino de Tisiologia y Neumonologia, held in Santa Fe, Argentina in 1997. He of course lectures widely and teaches students of bronchoscopy from throughout Argentina and other countries of South and Latin America.

Dr. Grynblat is expert at multiple interventional bronchoscopic procedures. His primary interests are in tracheal and bronchial airway disorders such as tracheal stenosis, tracheobronchomalacia, and tracheopathica osteochondroplastica. He is expert at bronchoscopic laser surgery and stent insertion for which he receives patient referrals from throughout South America.
