Promoting global health through medical education

OUR MISSION is clear: we want to eliminate variations in training within and between institutions, regions, and countries so patients everywhere have access to expertly-performed bronchoscopy and other chest procedures.

WE BELIEVE in the democratization of knowledge. All of our learning materials and training programs are provided free of charge.

–   We use simulation models, role-playing exercises, case-based analysis, inverted classrooms, step-by-step instruction, and competency-based materials to teach health care professionals and medical educators.
–  Our learner-centric training programs respect cultural differences. They are tailored to the specific needs of a health care institution, region, or country.
–  We design and deliver competency-based learning materials and coach medical professionals on their use.
–  Our Certified and Master instructors have a lifetime of teaching experience.  We are particularly committed to improving medical education and patient care in less developed countries.

is to make chest procedures such as bronchoscopy globally more accessible AND to help medical educators implement a uniform approach to teaching.

Bronchoscopy International is the education arm of the Foundation for the Advancement of Medicine.
